Sustainable success! Following a successful audit, Grässlin has been awarded the ISCC PLUS certificate. By voluntarily obtaining ISCC certification for our plastics distribution operations, we are not only responding to the growing demand from our customers and business partners for the sustainable use of bio-based and “circular” plastics, but are also sending a further signal of our own commitment to responsible business practices as a company. ISCC certification is a logical continuation of the path we have chosen toward the future of plastics. In addition to focusing on a value-oriented product portfolio, this certification also allows us to support the ambitious sustainability goals of our customers and suppliers.
ISCC (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification) is a certification system for sustainability and biomass, in which companies demonstrate, through their business processes, that they comply with ISCC guidelines regarding the procurement and distribution of ISCC-compliant materials. The certification was completed during an audit conducted by the SGS Group Germany. SGS is the world’s leading company in the fields of inspection, testing, verification, and certification.
