The compounds are manufactured using a wide variety of plastics according to customer specifications—typically PC/ABS, PA/ABS, PMMA, PET, PE/PP, and PC for the automotive industry. In principle, however, any polymer is possible, and as a general rule, the more transparent the polymer, the greater the depth, effect, and brilliance of the colors.
