Masterbatch

SAX® masterbatches are high-quality color concentrates for a wide range of plastics and processing methods. Color, additive, effect, and combination masterbatches are individually tailored to each application and can be formulated in every conceivable shade and with countless effects. The masterbatches can be individually tailored to your polymer. Currently, more than 6,000 existing formulations are available. This enormous range of variations ensures maximum compliance with material and design specifications.

The SAX® RAL product line comprises 29 standard, universally applicable masterbatches. Experience has shown that, thanks to their universal formulation, these masterbatches can be used in PE, PP, PA, PBT, TPE, and often also in ABS and POM. All color types exhibit very high lightfastness [7-8] and, due to the pigments used, a temperature resistance of 240°C–290°C. The types comply with legal guidelines and are physiologically safe.
